About
The Realness Preserve is a 501c3 nonprofit for skill preservation, education and lifestyle. In partnership with Texas Cob Co, our natural construction company, we're currently building our headquarters using Texas native materials and traditional techniques, including cob, adobe, stone and lime plaster. We exist as a beacon and nexus for naturalist knowledge in the West.
Our founder Arielle uses her background in sustainable fashion production in NYC, her experience as an educator at FIT, and her current roles as COO at Texas Cob Co, mother and homesteader to inform and inspire a modern "return to the land" approach to living, building and making.

Our headquarters are located on 5 acres in Kingsbury TX, a 1 hour country drive from Austin and San Antonio.

We're a plastic-free community, an oasis from synthetics, toxins, chemicals and single-use waste. We grow and make what we can, and source the rest locally by operating within a community of like-minded farmers and artists.

We're built by Texas Cob Co out of all natural and local materials. Our project plan includes rentals and residencies, communal amenities, workshops and classes, recreational offerings, events and retail.

Our little engine is driven by profit from our construction company, proceeds from workshops, and tax-deductible donations to the nonprofit. Your support of natural building takes us up the mountain.
